Kaua’i Chocolate Conference

Kaua’i Chocolate Company is proud to announce its first annual chocolate conference to be held at (location TBD) from May 6-9, 2013!

The “Garden Island” of Kaua’i is one of the few places where cacao, the bean from which chocolate is made, can thrive and grow.  Participants  of the conference will have an opportunity to visit a local cacao farm, see cacao trees, and sample some of Kaua’i’s cacao beans.

A trip to a local coffee farm and processing facility is included, as well as a visit to a tropical flower farm.

Tropical fruits commonly used in the chocolate industry will be available on display. Guava, coconut, and home-grown vanilla are among the many fruits to see.

About the Conference

We want to provide an informal venue to discuss topics on chocolate, whether it be growing cacao, manufacturing chocolate, or selling a product.
